Lightweight, high-temperature, heat-insulating bricks and boards based on amorphous silica PIREL HTI with application temperature up to 1250 °C.
There are two types of bricks and boards PIREL, namely:
- Low-temperature up to 750 °C LTI
- High-temperature up to 1250 °C HTI
For low-temperature bricks and boards PIREL LTI refer to section Low-temperature structural heat insulation
Lightweight, high-temperature, heat-insulating bricks and boards PIREL HTI are used in industry as het insulation for ceramic, glassmaking, metallurgical furnaces and units, as well as other high-temperature units and installations, or as a back-up heat insulation with temperatures up to 1250 °C.
The thermal conductivity of bricks PIREL HTI is half that of foams with the same bulk weight, and for this reason, bricks are used as a special heat-insulating masonry, where it is necessary to achieve maximum heat insulation even with the smallest lining thickness.
- Extremely low density, light
- Low thermal conductivity
- High resistance to heat
- High creep resistance
- Resistance to fluorine gases
- Easy and convenient laying in lining
- No special tools are required for trimming
Scope of application:
Shaped products PIREL are used as a back-up lining for ceramic furnaces, metallurgical furnaces and other heat installations. They are often used in boilers of power plants as an effective heat insulation. Their main purpose is to serve as a lightweight insulating masonry. Bricks and boards are laid on the appropriate mortar or installed freely in the intermediate layers of the furnace lining.
– Thermal units of non-ferrous, petrochemical, and chemical industries
– Cyclones of the cement industry
– Heating furnaces
– Glass melting furnaces
– Air preheaters
– Shaft furnaces
– Drying chambers
– Coke batteries
– Annealing furnaces
– Quenching furnaces
– Flue-gas ducts
– Distillation units
– Sulfuric acid production
– Low-temperature electrolysis
– CO treatment plants
Shaped products PERIL HTI have high structural strength.
Bricks PIREL HTI are easily processed, which simplifies the work on the site in cases where it is necessary to give the brick another shape or size in order to finish the started row.
Bricks and boards PIREL HTI are manufactured according to the basic range of molds with standard dimensions and dimensional limits of ± 1mm.
