Every lining especially newly installed, and particulary combined, multi-layer one requires special attention at the stage of its drying and heating, putting it into operating condition. Incorrect drying and heating of the lining is often accompanied by explosive cracking of refractory and heat-insulating materials. Especially it is true for materials of different density and thermal conductivity, with different mineralogy, which require different time and methods for water evaporation. Residual moisture is the first cause of your lining cracking. Everything should be carefully dried, strains occurring in the masonry removed. We will prepare for you a specially calculated heating curve taking into account the characteristics and properties of refractory materials and the performance parameters of your thermal generating unit.
